About the Chamber

The Tanzania-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSCHCI) serves as a platform for the support and development of national economic structures between Tanzania and the Slovak Republic. Our main goal is to create a functional and dynamic chamber of commerce that facilitates the implementation of joint projects in areas such as energy, mining, agriculture, industry, transport, cultural and academic exchange, sports, healthcare and tourism.

Our association connects organizations and individuals with professional experience and competencies to implement and promote development projects at the international level. All activities are anchored in the spirit of friendly cooperation between Tanzania and Slovakia, with an emphasis on the human dimension of mutual assistance.

Main Objective 

The main objective of TSCHCI is to develop and support economic, trade and investment relations between Tanzania and Slovakia by Focusing on:

• Promoting economic relations between Tanzania and the Slovak Republic through the exchange of goods, services and capital.

• Organizing meetings between entrepreneurs and experts from both countries to facilitate mutual communication and cooperation.

• Supporting joint ventures, commercial and industrial collaboration.

• Coordination  of the economic interests of our members within both countries, but also at the European Union level.

• Mediation of contacts between Slovak and Tanzanian entrepreneurs, companies and institutions.

• Close cooperation with government and business institutions in Tanzania and Slovakia, including embassies, trade departments and ministries.

• Facilitating bilateral trade between Tanzania and Slovakia.

• Creating platforms for SME growth, culture and knowledge exchange.

Partnerships and collaborations

The Tanzanian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry is based on strong partnerships with key institutions and organizations on both sides.

Our partners are:

• Government institutions in Tanzania and Slovakia, including embassies, ministries, and trade departments.

• Chambers of Commerce and bilateral trade organizations in both countries.

• Academic institutions supporting cultural and academic exchange between Tanzania and Slovakia.

• The Chamber is not a direct implementer of projects, individual projects are managed by separate teams - Partners and related economic entities. 

The Chamber is actively involved in projects funded by the European Union

The Tanzania–Slovakia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TSCHCI) is actively engaged in facilitating and supporting a wide range of projects that strengthen bilateral trade and investment between Tanzania and Slovakia.
