About the Chamber

The Tanzania-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry serves as a platform for the support and development of national economic structures between Tanzania and the Slovak Republic. Our main goal is to create a functional and dynamic chamber of commerce that facilitates the implementation of joint projects in areas such as energy, industry, transport, cultural and academic exchange, sports, healthcare and tourism.

Our association connects organizations and individuals with professional experience and competencies to implement and promote development projects at the international level. All activities are anchored in the spirit of friendly cooperation between Tanzania and Slovakia, with an emphasis on the human dimension of mutual assistance.

Naše ciele

The main objective of TSCHCI is to develop and support economic, trade and investment relations between Tanzania and Slovakia. Our priority is:

• Promoting economic relations between Tanzania and the Slovak Republic through the exchange of goods, services and capital.

• Organizing meetings between entrepreneurs and experts from both countries to facilitate mutual communication and cooperation.

• Coordination and defense of the economic interests of our members within both countries, but also at the European Union level.

• Mediation of contacts between Slovak and Tanzanian entrepreneurs, companies and institutions.

• Close cooperation with government and business institutions in Tanzania and Slovakia, including embassies, trade departments and ministries.

The Chamber actively ensures the exchange of information between its members and provides support in the implementation of cross-border projects."

Partnerships and collaborations

The Tanzanian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry is based on strong partnerships with key institutions and organizations on both sides. Our partners are:

• Government institutions in Tanzania and Slovakia, including embassies, ministries, and trade departments.

• Chambers of Commerce and bilateral trade organizations in both countries.

• Academic institutions supporting cultural and academic exchange between Tanzania and Slovakia.

Through these partnerships, we support the implementation of diverse projects, from business investments to cultural cooperation. We also participate in and organize international events, conferences and symposia."

TSCHCI is guided by a refined program and strategy that include:

• Creating and managing websites and social profiles to improve communication.

• Establishing a permanent office in Tanzania to support direct business relationships.

• Organizing business meetings, promotional and information events.

• Participation in national and international conferences and symposia.

• Acquiring new business opportunities, implementing and promoting them.

• Providing professional advice and technical support for the implementation of development projects.

The Chamber is actively involved in projects funded by the European Union and is looking for appropriate resources to support these projects.

Our services

TSCHCI offers a wide range of services aimed at supporting entrepreneurs and investors from both countries. Our main services include:

• Trade and investment advisory: We help Slovak and Tanzanian companies identify and exploit investment opportunities.

• Organization of trade missions and events: We regularly organize business and social meetings, conferences and workshops that enable the exchange of experiences and the creation of new partnerships.

• Mediation of business partnerships: We connect entrepreneurs, companies and institutions from Tanzania and Slovakia with the aim of creating business relationships.

The Chamber is not a direct implementer of projects, individual projects are managed by separate teams - Partners and related economic entities. The implementation of multiple projects within one partnership structure is not excluded.

Each Partner becomes a member of the Chamber.

The Chamber's fundamental role is communication with local government, self-government and business entities, and on the other hand with the Slovak government, ministries, the banking sector and business entities from Europe.

A significant source of funding is European Union subsidy projects, and the chamber's task is to search for and connect suitable resources with individual projects.

How to become a member?

As a member of the Chamber, you will become part of a network of contacts formed by prominent entrepreneurs. Each of them strives not only to achieve success in their field of business, but also supports the deepening of mutual business relations between Slovakia and Tanzania.
